“I believe in taking a truly client-focused approach to each case. I ensure that my clients are informed and involved throughout the legal process. As a first generation lawyer in my family, I understand how confusing and intimidating the legal process can be - especially for those without any experience in it. I am always available to answer questions, listen to concerns and provide guidance so that my clients never feel lost.”

Andrew C. Brumitt

Andrew C. Brumitt is a seasoned criminal defense attorney born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. A first-generation lawyer and former Division I football player, Mr. Brumitt has built a reputation as an aggressive, strategic, and results-driven advocate who relentlessly fights for his clients’ rights.

Mr. Brumitt’s practice is devoted almost exclusively to defending individuals accused or charged with criminal offenses in both state and federal courts. His diverse background and extensive trial experience have shaped him into a highly effective litigator, capable of navigating even the most complex criminal matters. Over the course of his career, he has achieved hundreds of successful outcomes—ranging from full dismissals to avoiding lengthy prison sentences in serious felony cases. He has represented clients in more than 70 of Missouri’s 115 counties, demonstrating both his statewide reach and commitment to defending the accused throughout Missouri.

As one of the few Missouri attorneys who is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, Mr. Brumitt possesses specialized training in the science and law behind DWI defense. This advanced education enables him to meticulously dissect every aspect of a DWI case—from the initial traffic stop to the administration of field sobriety, breath, and blood tests. He is known for his ability to identify flaws in the prosecution’s evidence and for his refusal to settle for anything less than the best possible outcome for his clients.

Mr. Brumitt earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Statistics from the University of Missouri–Columbia before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. During law school, he was selected for the National Trial Advocacy Competition Team and distinguished himself as a leader in trial advocacy.

Mr. Brumitt is admitted to practice law in all Missouri state courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
